What vaccinations does my pet need?

There are many vaccinations out there to choose and It might be difficult to know which are the most important. There is a current discussion within animal medicine about choosing a vaccination tailored appropriately to the individual needs of the patient rather than giving a pet all vaccines available. We believe in vaccinating appropriately and judiciously - not every pet requires the same vaccinations.

The state of California currently mandates that every pet receive a Rabies immunization by 16 weeks of age. However, there are other preventable diseases that every pet owner should make themselves aware in order to better engage with their animal doctor about the highest quality medicine for their pet.

We believe in beginning puppy/kitten vaccinations at 8-9 weeks of age depending on their weight.
